How to pick the right location for your Laundromat Business

1. Location With Lots of Traffic
Look for a location on a busy street. Ideally, this street would be on the way in/out of your neighbourhood and have lots of passing commuters.

Streets with lower speed limits are best because you want drivers to have time to see your store. You also want it to be easy for your customers to enter your lot, so look for a location with convenient entrance and exit points to and from the road.
3. Be Visible To Passing Drivers
Your store should be visible from the street. Make sure to put up signs in prominent locations if you think it will be difficult for passing drivers to notice your laundromat.

5. Plenty Of Available Parking
Available parking spaces are very important to the success of your store. Make sure there will be free spaces for your customers — especially at peak times like weekends and evenings.
6. Near Local Anchor Points
Think about the places your potential customers habitually visit. Finding a location beside or on the way to these anchor points is a great place to start. Locations near supermarkets are great for coin laundry stores because customers can get two weekly tasks done in one trip — laundry and groceries. Locations between high population areas and elementary and high schools or are great also. Parents can easily visit your store after the school pick up or drop off.
